Skin Boosters (HA)

Skin boosters are injectable moisturizers. They are made up of Hyaluronic Acid; a substance that occurs naturally in the skin that is responsible for skin hydration by retaining moisture. It also gives the skin elasticity and prevents the appearance of fine lines. They are not fillers, so they do not plump the face, fill it or change the way you look.

Skin boosters revitalize the skin by replenishing its hyaluronic acid stores that get depleted with age.

They hydrate the skin, give you a radiant complexion, improve skin tone and texture making it softer, improve skin elasticity and firmness, and help treat fine lines and wrinkles.

How it is done:

The face is sterilized and then the booster is injected into the skin surface through multiple microinjections using a very fine needle.

Pain tolerance:

A bit uncomfortable, numbing the skin with an anesthetic cream before the session helps a lot.

Target areas: the face, neck, décolleté, and any area that needs hydration and more elasticity and firmness like the hands.

Duration of treatment:

30 minutes

Downtime:

Slight redness and swelling at the injection points for a few hours up to 1 day after the treatment. Occasional bruising in some cases, not all that can last anywhere between 3 to 10 days after the treatment.

Who cannot do the treatment:

Active infection at the injection site. Pregnant or breastfeeding women.

How long before an event should you do the treatment:

Ideally 7 to 10 days before your event
