  • What’s the difference between a Hydrafacial and a regular facial?
A Hydrafacial is performed using a state-of-the-art machine (Hydrafacial MD™️) that provides exfoliation, extraction and hydration. Whereas a regular facial is done either manually or using another kind of machine. Hydrafacial MD is unique because it uses specific medical grade fluids that are suitable for all skin types, and have ingredients that can improve acne (like salicylic acid), which spares you the usual acne breakout that can happen after regular facials.
  • How long will my filler last?
This is entirely case-specific. It will always depend on the product used and the area you are treating, as well as how quick your metabolism is and other external factors like exercising or heat exposure . As a general rule, fillers last anywhere between 6 and 18 months. When you are treated, we can give you an estimate of how long your specific filler might last.
  • Does Botox hurt? I’m afraid of needles.
Botox is not a painful treatment. The needles used for Botox injections are actually smaller than the needles used for insulin injections! If you are concerned about discomfort, ice or topical numbing creams can be applied prior to the treatment.
  • How long do Botox injections take?
The injections are typically done in 5-10 minutes. (It takes more time to prep and document than the treatment itself!)
  • How does Botox work?
Botox works by temporarily reducing the muscle activity in the targeted areas, therefore reducing those wrinkles such as crows feet, 11’s, and forehead lines.
  • If I stop using Botox, will my wrinkles get worse than before they started?
No, Botox will not make your wrinkles worse if you stop. If one does not continue with their treatments, they will eventually get back to their baseline prior to their treatment and continue to develop wrinkles as they normally would.
  • What will I look and feel like immediately after my Botox treatment?
Botox is often referred to as a “lunchtime treatment” because you can return to your daily routine immediately after the treatment. Botox will start working 2-3 days after the treatment with a gradual increase to the final result, which is achieved around 10-14 days post-treatment.
  • How long will Botox results last?
Botox results can last up to 4 months for moderate to severe frown lines.
  • Will I look “fake” after treatment?
Botox treatments are customized to your own desired results. At Skin Clinic 360, we take a conservative “less is more” approach to treatment, especially in patients who are new to Botox because we can always add more if needed. The majority of patients report that people will often compliment them on how good their skin looks after treatment or that they look well-rested or fresh, without realizing that it is thanks to a Botox treatment!
